Hello! My name is Satoko Shibata, and I was born and raised in Kyushu, Japan. English pronunciation always fascinated me as a child, and I soaked up English accents and expressions by listening to English songs. After graduating high school, I moved to Tokyo to attend university and upon graduation began a career in international business – working in counseling, PR, and sales.

The greatest asset to my career was working on exhibition localization projects at Japan’s largest science museum, The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan, Tokyo). My role involved localizing and adapting foreign exhibitions to suit Japanese audiences and, conversely, localizing Japanese exhibitions for science museums abroad. Through this experience, I honed my skills in conveying information clearly and effectively. Working with people from various countries and regions taught me the importance of knowing and understanding each other’s culture.

Even today, I love expanding my horizons and enjoy working with overseas clients. My authentic, one-stop, translation and voiceover services put to best use the technical skill I have acquired over the years and my desire to communicate in a way that is easy to understand.
